Allen Todd Allen Todd Policy and Advocacy Director

Allen Todd joins The Sheridan Group with nearly 10 years of experience in governmental, political and nonprofit organizations. His policy career is diverse and has included issues such as health care, education, poverty, homeland security and national defense.

Before joining The Sheridan Group, Allen served as the Executive Director of the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures, a nonprofit advocacy organization that promotes medical research and works to protect lifesaving cures. This position was personally important to Allen, who has had juvenile diabetes since the age of four. 

Prior to his time at the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures, Allen worked for three years in Washington DC on Capitol Hill as the Administrative Director for U.S. Representative Russ Carnahan, working on a variety of legislative issues. He previously served in state government as the Director of Policy and Planning for Missouri’s Office of Homeland Security and in then-Missouri Secretary of State Bekki Cook’s communications office. 

Allen has held various positions at the Missouri Democratic Party, including Rural Outreach Coordinator and Voter Contact Director.  Allen has also managed numerous political campaigns throughout his career. 

He is a native of Missouri and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
