Claudia Kolmer Vice President
Claudia serves as the Vice President of Finance and Operations for The Sheridan Group, managing the organization’s finances and administrative functions. In this role, Claudia is responsible for budgeting, contracts, forecasting, as well as human resources, information technology, and facilities management.
Claudia brings over 18 years of operations and human resources management to The Sheridan Group. She was the Human Resources Manager for DynAir Tech, a third party repair station for major aircraft based in Phoenix, AZ, and then the Director of HR and Operations for Levick Strategic Communications in the Washington DC area. In the spirit of service, Claudia served her country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. She was stationed for five years in Karlsruhe, Germany. Claudia’s work history speaks to her incredible work ethic and commitment to high customer service standards.
Claudia holds a degree in Human Resources and Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Community Engagement
Claudia’s volunteer work is focused on helping those who are homeless in the nation’s capital. She is an active volunteer at The Mary House and the Community Council for the Homeless. These community based organizations provide transitional housing services, shelter and support programs to homeless and displaced/struggling families.
